CySec’s registered rights include, but are not limited to:

Unauthorised Use of CySec’s Marks

CySec has identified instances of unauthorised use of its protected marks and marks confusingly similar to them, by third parties across course titles, courseware, digital badges, marketing materials, metadata, and online platforms.

Such use is not permitted and may mislead learners, employers, and partners by implying an association with the NCSP® ecosystem where none exists.

CySec requires all organisations and individuals to immediately cease any unauthorised use of:

  • NIST Cybersecurity Professional®

  • NIST Cyber Security Professional®

  • NCSP®

  • Any identical, derivative, or confusingly similar marks including terminology likely to cause consumer confusion or imply endorsement by CySec.

This requirement applies to all uses, including:

  • course titles and descriptions

  • training materials and manuals

  • digital badges and certificates

  • websites, landing pages, and catalogues

  • social media posts and profiles

  • marketing collateral

  • metadata, alt‑text, and SEO tags

  • URL paths and headings

  • reseller and partner listings

Authorised Use Only

Only organisations and individuals expressly licensed or approved by CySec Professionals Ltd are permitted to use the NCSP® or NIST Cybersecurity Professional® marks in any commercial or educational context.

If you are unsure whether your use is authorised, please contact CySec for clarification before publishing or promoting any materials.

CySec’s Commitment to Protecting the NCSP® Ecosystem

CySec will continue to monitor the market globally and will take appropriate action to protect the integrity, clarity, and trust associated with the NCSP® credential ecosystem.

These protections ensure that learners, employers, partners, and regulators can rely on the NCSP® identity as a trusted, standards‑aligned, and globally recognised credential framework.

Further updates will be provided as the ecosystem continues to expand.
