(NCSP®) 800‑83 Foundation Certificate

Course Description

Malware remains one of the most persistent threats to organisational systems and data. NIST SP 800‑83 provides authoritative guidance for preventing, detecting, and responding to malware incidents.

The NCSP® 800‑83 Foundation Certificate is a 2‑day, instructor‑led course introducing participants to the principles and practices of malware prevention and incident handling as defined in NIST SP 800‑83. This course explains malware types, prevention strategies, detection mechanisms, and response processes aligned with NIST CSF 2.0.

Participants learn how to apply foundational malware security concepts across systems, networks, and applications, preparing them for more advanced NCSP® incident response and operational security training.
