Course Description

 

NIST Special Publication 800‑47 (SP 800‑47) provides federal guidance for securely interconnecting information systems. It explains the risks associated with system‑to‑system connections, the responsibilities of participating organisations, and the requirements for formal agreements governing interconnections.

The NIST Cybersecurity Professional® (NCSP®) 800‑47 Awareness Certificate introduces executives, managers, and system owners to the principles of secure interconnection governance. It explains how organisations establish Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs), and coordinated monitoring responsibilities.
